Couples Counseling
Every relationship takes communication, patience, and effort. Sometimes things get too complicated to work through on your own, and you need support navigating it together.
I'm happy to help couples and partners with relationship challenges, approaching the work collaboratively and involving everyone present in the therapy process. I'll often encourage you to practice what we work on outside of session, in everyday life together.

You may be here because…
- Communication has broken down or turns into the same argument on repeat
- You're rebuilding trust after infidelity or a breach of trust
- You want more emotional or sexual intimacy with your partner
- You're considering opening up your relationship and want support navigating it
What couples counseling can help with
Couples and relationship therapy is for partners who want to work on what's happening between them, not just individually. It's collaborative: both (or all) partners are part of the process, not just one person being "fixed."
Common focus areas include communication challenges, reconnecting after distance or conflict, infidelity, low sexual satisfaction, a desire for more emotional or sexual intimacy, relationship trauma, opening up a relationship, the impact of everyday stressors on the relationship, and enhancing desire, connection, and pleasure, including exploring kink or BDSM together, when relevant.
Common reasons couples reach out
- Communication challenges or recurring conflict
- Infidelity or rebuilding trust
- Low sexual satisfaction or intimacy
- Wanting to reconnect after a difficult period
- Exploring opening up the relationship (ethical non-monogamy)
- Exploring kink or BDSM together
How SkyeBlu approaches couples work
Relational therapy with SkyeBlu is collaborative: every partner present has a voice in the process. Sessions draw on Person-Centered (Rogerian) therapy so each of you feels heard and respected, alongside sex therapy techniques when intimacy or sexuality is part of the work.
You may also be encouraged to practice new communication or connection skills between sessions, so progress doesn't stay confined to the therapy room.

What working together may look like
Relationships take ongoing effort. You don't have to carry that effort without support.
