Are you having trouble in the bedroom? Do you or your partner struggle with arousal, feeling intimate, untimely or absent orgasms, or other issues that affect sexual connection? Have you experienced issues around talking about or meeting one another’s sexual needs?
Let me help!
My name is SkyeBlu Cutchie, and I started my own therapy practice to help individuals and couples with sexual difficulties – people just like you – because everyone deserves a chance at sexual positivity and wellbeing.
If you and or your partner(s) are interested and ready to get signed up, contact me today. To learn more about Sex Therapy and how it can help, read on!
Sex Therapy is a specialized form of psychotherapy that focuses on sexual pleasure, intimacy and function. Some examples of issues in these areas include:
I want to highlight how normal and common these issues are – so many people struggle with one or more of these, but not everyone will seek help.
Much like other therapies, Sex Therapy works to help you overcome barriers to wellness, understand your (and your partner’s) needs, and what you want to work towards. Sex Therapy is also used to help survivors of sexual abuse, rape, or manipulation.
Sex Therapy is designed to help you:
Of course, Sex Therapy does not mean you will be having sex with your counselor. Instead, we will work together to find solutions to issues related to your sexuality and work towards true healing.
I am here for you.
Sex Therapy isn't just about having sex, it's about connection, healing, and joy.
As a Sex Therapist, I work hard to help you understand your unique complexity: physical, psychological, social, sexual, and spiritual.
I operate from a holistic perspective that integrates Sex Therapy with Person-Centered (or Rogerian) Therapy to help you feel heard, respected, and accepted – you deserve nothing less! My hope is to help you become your true, authentic self.
I also draw from Psychoanalytic theory to understand your unconscious mind and identify patterns and parallels in your life. Sometimes this includes art therapy (drawing mostly), metaphors (bringing a feeling to life), using a sand tray. We may also dive into mindfulness practices and, and somatic techniques (noticing feelings/sensations in the body) to raise your sense of self-awareness. Plus, I’ll often assign homework activities that include techniques from sensate awareness and intimate touch exercises to augment your progress.
You deserve a life full of meaning, joy, and sexual positivity.
Together, we can make it happen.
